Algorecruit is a trading name of AI Empowerment Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15515185, 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: eddie@algominds.ai.

Client contacts: name, role, work email, company details, and the contents of calls and correspondence with us, including bookings made through Cal.com.

Candidates: professional information gathered from public sources, such as GitHub activity, published code and writing, conference talks, personal websites and public professional profiles, together with any information a candidate shares with us directly.

Website: basic technical logs and analytics necessary to operate the site. We do not run advertising trackers.

To run searches: evaluating publicly available professional evidence to identify candidates who match a role, and preparing briefs for clients.

To operate the business: responding to enquiries, scheduling calls, agreeing engagements, invoicing and keeping records.

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are legitimate interests (connecting candidates with relevant senior roles, operating and promoting our business) and consent where we ask for it. Where candidates are in California, we honor applicable CCPA rights.

We share candidate profiles with a prospective employer only as part of a search, and anonymized until an engagement is in place. We use service providers to run the business (hosting, scheduling, email), each bound by their own data protection obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Client records are kept for the duration of the relationship and as required for legal and accounting purposes. Candidate research is kept while it remains relevant to live or future searches, and deleted on request.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email eddie@algominds.ai and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
